Ivermectin is included for skin patterns where Demodex mite activity may be part of the rosacea-prone picture. Demodex are microscopic organisms that live on the skin and are found in higher concentrations in many rosacea people. Adding ivermectin gives the formula another mechanism for papules, pustules, and flare-prone redness beyond azelaic acid and metronidazole alone.
Most gentle routines can stay. Gentle cleansers, hydrating serums, broad-spectrum SPF, and barrier-supporting moisturizers pair well with The Advanced Redness Solutionᴿˣ. The most common effects are mild tingling, dryness, or flaking in the first 2 to 4 weeks as your skin adjusts, and some people notice a brief worsening in the first 1 to 2 weeks as Demodex mites decline. It should not be used during pregnancy or while nursing, within two weeks of disulfiram (Antabuse), or within six months of oral isotretinoin.
