Yes. The Hair Reduction Solution is designed to be used alongside your existing hair removal method. The combinations:
- Shaving. Compatible. Shave first, wait for any nicks to fully heal before applying the topical.
- Plucking and threading. Compatible. Wait until any redness has settled before applying.
- Waxing. Compatible, but pause the topical for 24 to 48 hours after a wax to let the skin recover before resuming.
- Laser hair removal or electrolysis. Compatible. Many patients use the topical to extend results between laser sessions. Pause the topical for at least 48 hours before and after a laser session, or as your laser provider directs.
- Depilatory creams (Nair, Veet). Can be combined, but stagger application — they're harsh, and stacking them with a prescription topical on the same skin in the same window often increases irritation.
Apply to clean, dry skin. Do not apply over open or freshly broken skin. Your dermatologist will give you the exact application protocol with your prescription.
