The formulas were designed by three board-certified dermatologists — Dr. Lindsey Zubritsky, Dr. Mamina Turegano, and Dr. Jenny Liu — who set which actives, at which strengths, in which combinations, are appropriate for which type of acne. A board-certified dermatologist on the DermClick medical team then reviews your photos and your history, selects the right formula and strength for your skin, and writes your prescription.
DermClick offers four acne-focused formulas:
- The Acne Solution ($79/month, Core) — for first-time prescription users with mild to moderate inflammatory or hormonal breakouts.
- The Advanced Acne Solution ($79/month, Advanced) — a multi-mechanism prescription formula for stubborn or persistent acne that has not responded to other treatments.
- The Acne & Anti-Aging Formula ($79/month, Core) — for acne-prone skin showing early fine lines and texture changes.
- The Advanced Acne & Anti-Aging Formula ($89/month, Advanced) — maximum-strength for persistent breakouts overlapping with visible aging concerns.
- The Red Mark Solution ($79/month, Repair) — for the post-acne phase. Treats the red marks left after breakouts; does not treat active acne. Choose this if your acne is improving but red marks are still visible.
