DermClick prescribes for six conditions, matched to the categories on our products page:

  • Acneinflammatory, comedonal, and hormonal acne. Includes formulas for active breakouts and for treatment-resistant cases that have not responded to over-the-counter benzoyl peroxide or low-strength retinoids.
  • Anti-agingfine lines, texture changes, dullness, and early-to-moderate photoaging. Tretinoin-anchored formulas, calibrated to your tolerance and prior retinoid exposure.
  • Rosaceapersistent facial redness, papules and pustules, and the visible flushing pattern of vascular rosacea. Multiple formulas depending on whether your rosacea is mild and sensitive, severe and inflammatory, primarily visible flushing, or overlapping with acne-like breakouts.
  • Hair reductionunwanted facial hair on the upper lip, chin, jawline, and sideburn area. A prescription topical that slows the regrowth rate at the follicle.
  • Melasma and dark spotshormonal pigmentation, sun-driven discoloration, and stubborn or treatment-resistant patches. Both non-hydroquinone and hydroquinone-based formulas, with a precision spot-treatment option.
  • Scarring and redness (P.I.E.)the post-acne red marks left behind once active breakouts have cleared. A targeted recovery formula, separate from active acne treatment.

If your concern doesn't fit cleanly into one of these — for example, if you have a mole that is changing, a rash that has not been diagnosed, eczema or psoriasis, or active cystic acne that is leaving deep scarring — your DermClick dermatologist will tell you and may recommend an in-person referral instead of a prescription.
