Four steps. The whole thing happens online.

  • Take the skin assessment. About three minutes. You answer the questions a dermatologist would ask in a first visit — concern, history, current routine, allergies, pregnancy or nursing status — and upload photos of your skin in good lighting.
  • A board-certified dermatologist reviews your case. Within 24 business hours, a board-certified dermatologist on the DermClick medical team reads your history, looks at your photos, and decides which of the formulas built by Dr. Lindsey, Dr. Mamina, and Dr. Jenny is right for your skin — and at what strength. If something in your case needs clarification, the dermatologist messages you before writing the prescription.
  • Your formula is compounded and shipped. The prescription is sent to a compounding pharmacy partner, where the actives are combined into a single formula labeled with your name. Standard delivery in the US takes a few business days from the date the dermatologist signs the prescription.
  • Your dermatologist stays with you. Adjustments to strength or actives are made through your account — at the four-week check-in, the eight-week check-in, or any time you message the team. Your case file, your photos, and your treatment notes stay in one place, so the dermatologist reviewing your refill has the full picture of how your skin has responded.
